A "found poem"

A while ago Gideon posted a couple of poems he'd created from amusing or interesting blog titles. Well, today I noticed a couple of very amusing juxtaposed blog titles and, always being willing to steal a good idea, thought I'd have a go at making a poem of sorts out of them.

This is more in line with the Exquisite Corpse style of poetry (see here for a full explanation), but I think it's quite amusing in its own little way. I took titles strictly in chronological order (at the time) from the "Forum: Blogging" list (though I did pick and choose a little bit for dramatic effect).

Poor sea monkeys!

All we can share about...
eating for comfort.
Army wives disgust me!!
But I want them!!

I am not paid to blog.
My six-pack is suffering!
So... you want the truth, eh?
I'm secretly a terrorist!

Figuring out what I want:
come fiddle with my riddle
Tell me that it isn't true
I threw it all away.

Yeah, it turned out pretty well. I barely even had to pick and choose, the lines just fell right into place.
