"Vitriolic."

Yes, it's a good word. Interesting, eye-catching even. But I've seen it an awful lot in the last few days and I think it's time we collectively exercised our vocabulary to come up with a few good alternatives.

Something like:

Nasty.
Mean.
Caustic.
Hateful.
Antagonistic.
Hostile.
Rancorous.
Acerbic.
Acidic.
Acidulous.
Antipathic.
Full of Animosity.
Vindictive.
Loatheful.
Malignant.
Bitter.
Spiteful.
Bile-laden.
Malevolent.
With malice.

Come on, people! Let's get creative!

K.... How about:~

Theres been some Nasty stuff going on here in recent months. I Mean, really Caustic and Hateful stuff. The Antagonistic attitudes of some, creates a Hostile environment to blog in. This Rancourous or Acerbic behaviour has an Acidic effect, causing an Acidulous response which is Antipathic in nature. There are even some who are Full of Animosity towards many others, and their Vindictive behaviour is Loatheful to say the least. If this Malignant attitude is allowed to continue, many will become Bitter and Spiteful, and their Bile-Laden blogs will prove their Malevolent, evil alter ego has taken over as the dominant personality. Therefore, everything written, will be written With Malice.

~All in fun, kids .... I just wanted to use all them big words

I've got to ding you half a point for using "mean" as a verb instead of an adjective, WEric. Plus there's an extra comma after "some". Otherwise, full marks.

...yes, it has been vastly overused. Thank you for the synonyms (maybe someone could copy/paste them to Notepad for future reference...hehehe)
