Bedtime for Krystal

Okay, little squirmy one
The day is over with, it's done.
It's time for you to go to bed
and calm your squirmy little head.

Okay, little wiggly one
The time is past for having fun.
It's time for baby's eyes to shut
and rest your wiggly little butt.

Okay, little active one
The time for sleeping has begun.
Don't try to woo me with your charms,
just still your active little arms.

Okay, little tired child
Objections over, manner mild,
Your legs relax, Your eyelids droop...
Oh no! Your diaper's full of poop!

Citahellion: I loved this! I hope that you are saving all these sweet poems. Maybe you could put them together into a book. I'd buy it!

Btw . . . how is it that they always manage to fill their diaper right as you've finally gotten them to sleep?

Oh, I'm a big believer in having multiple copies of anything good that I write.

(Comes from 15 years of System Administration.) I've got it here on JU and on my own hard drive, and soon I will write it in Ann's journal for Krystal.
